The purpose of the Apprenticeship Training Grant funding is to develop an industry-specific Wyoming workforce for business, businesses, industries, and to assist Wyoming Registered Apprenticeship Programs with the costs and expenses of implementing the program and training the apprentices.
Eligible applicants include Wyoming-based Sponsors with the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Registered Apprenticeship Programs, and Related Technical Instruction Provider(s) associated with a Wyoming-based Sponsor/Partnering Employer(s). Applications are completed through a partnership of these entities with collaboration occurring prior to submission.
Approved funding is provided for allowable expenses directly associated with the Related Technical Instruction component of the program.
- Applications must be submitted between the 1st and 7th day of the month.
- Plan for a 45 to 60-day review period before RTI begins.
