PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wyoming Workers’ Compensation
Division is proposing changes that will affect the Division’s rules, regulations and fee
schedule. These proposals include modifications to the Wyoming Workers’

The Department proposes to update Chapter 7 – Benefits by the following changes:
Section 1 – Awards of Compensation (b)(i)(A) – deleted the sentence “The
Division may issue an interim PPI award, which is subject to deduction from the final
award amount”. The Division no longer allows interim PPI award payments.
Section 2 – Benefit Suspension, Limitations and Discounting (c)(i). The Division
added “When a discounted lump sum is awarded to an injured worker, they are not
eligible for future Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) benefits”.
Section 3 – Medical and Hospital Care (a)(iv)(A) – deleted “city to city” and
added “address to address”. This will result in exact mileage reimbursement for the
injured worker.
