What is a Trusted Referee video call?
If your online identity verification attempt was unsuccessful, you might be asked to connect with a Trusted Referee, also known as a Video Chat Agent. A Trusted Referee is a trained specialist who will help verify your identity through a video call.
What to Expect During the Video Call
During the call, you’ll be asked to show physical copies of your identification documents, such as a current driver’s license, state-issued photo ID, passport card, or passport. You might also need to provide proof of your Social Security number, or additional documents if your name has changed or to confirm your current address.
