In December’s issue of On the Job, we introduced you to the DWS Virtual Training Series, and we’re proud to announce the inaugural session, Social Media 101, was a great success! We hosted more than 350 attendees, all eager to learn more about social media marketing. If you attended, thank you – but don’t worry if you didn’t make it. You can still see the recording at dws.wyo.gov/vts.

In February, we’re bringing you “Tools for Lean Leadership.” The term lean leadership may be fairly recent, but the concept behind it has existed since before Henry Ford said, “There is one rule for the industrialist, and that is: make the best quality goods possible at the lowest cost possible, paying the highest wages possible.” This leadership style emphasizes continuous improvement and waste reduction, based on the philosophy that every employee can contribute to improving the organization.

If you’d like to learn more about lean leadership, please join us on Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. – noon for the second DWS Virtual Training Series: Tools for Lean Leadership. Learn more about this session and others, and register here.
