PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE RULES, REGULATIONS
AND FEE SCHEDULE OF THE WYOMING WORKERS’ COMPENSATION
DIVISION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wyoming Workers’ Compensation
Division is proposing changes that will affect the Division’s rules, regulations and fee
schedule. These proposals include modifications to the Wyoming Workers’
Compensation Rules, Regulations and Fee Schedules;
The Department proposes to add Chapter 13 (Presumption of Disability for Certain
Diseases), due to a new statute change, W.S. §§ 27-15-101 through 27-15-103; SEA 65.
This chapter addresses the authority and hearing requirements for firefighters applying
for workers’ compensation benefits.
The new rule also states that hearings for firefighters applying for workers’ compensation
benefits pursuant to Wyoming Statutes §§ 27-15-101 through 27-15-103 will proceed
under the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act, W.S. §27-14-601, W.S. § 27-14-602
and W.S. § 27-14-616.
