The Wyoming Workforce Development Council (WWDC) is a team of leaders from across the state, chosen by the governor to guide Wyoming’s workforce development. Their role is to support the governor in ensuring the state’s workforce system strengthens local and state economies while producing a skilled, self-sufficient workforce that Wyoming employers rely on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising: Providing strategic guidance to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and its 18 full-service workforce centers.
  • Grant Allocation: Overseeing federal workforce grant distribution to maximize resources.
  • Partnership Development: Leading the creation and management of Next Gen Sector Partnerships to drive innovation and collaboration across industries.

By working together, the WWDC is helping shape a stronger Wyoming, built on a thriving and resilient workforce.
