Adoption of the Wyoming Workers’ Compensation Rules and Regulations, Chapter 11, Workplace Safety Contracts; and, repeal of OSHA, Chapter 1, Workplace Safety Contracts

The Department of Workforce Services, Workers’ Compensation Division is proposing to change the
following:
Workers’ Compensation Division is proposing a new chapter, Chapter 11, Workplace Safety
Contracts. This chapter describes the criteria for the application process, eligibility process and
appeals process.
Wyoming Statute 9-2-2608(c), allows the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) to
administer the Workplace Safety Contract program either through OSHA or Workers’
Compensation. Due to organizational changes DWS has deemed it appropriate to move the
administration of the program to the Workers’ Compensation Division, as authorized by statute.
