PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE,
CHAPTER 11: INFORMATION DISSEMINATION RULES OF WYOMING OSHA
DIVISION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wyoming OSHA Commission is
proposing to add a new chapter to Practice and Procedure Rules, Chapter 11: Information
Dissemination in its rules. This chapter incorporates Information Practices, Chapter 2:
Rules; Section 1, Classification of Information, Section 2, Dissemination, Section 3,
Verification and Amendment with amendments, and Section 6, Deputy Administrator and
deleting Section 4, Personnel Records and Section 5, Storage and Maintenance.
Proposed amendments include: updating Section 1(b)(i) for statistical data from the
Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) to the North American Industry
Classification System (NAICS); amending Section 1(b) to change the definition of when
an investigation file is closed so that such files can be disclosed sooner pursuant to the
Wyoming Public Records Act; and, adopting new information into Section 3, by
incorporating Chapter 2 of the Rules of Director’s Office, Department of Administration
and Information, to wit: the Uniform Procedures, Fees, Costs and Charges for Inspecting,
Copying, and Producing Public Records, as required by W.S. 16-4-204(d); Additionally,
Sections 4 and 5 from Chapter 2, Information Practices: Rules, were deleted due to
redundancy with other rules, in keeping with Governor Mead’s directive for reduction of
Wyoming rules.
