The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and its partners understand the challenges of downsizing or closing a business. Workforce Services can mobilize its partners and affiliates to rapidly respond to help your business create a strategy to meet your business needs. In some cases, the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and its partners and affiliates have been able to halt downsizing and closures by such rapid, strategically-focused responses.
Employers with at least 100 employees are required to provide written notice 60 days before a mass layoff or closure. Wyoming does not have any additional requirements beyond what the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) requires for a WARN notification to be issued.
