The Wyoming State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) exists to advise, review, and provide guidance to the Wyoming Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) in delivering high-quality services that help individuals with disabilities achieve their employment and independence goals. The Council brings together diverse voices, including individuals with disabilities, advocates, employers, and community partners, to ensure that VR programs are responsive, effective, and aligned with the needs of Wyoming citizens.

Mission

The Wyoming State Rehabilitation Council is dedicated to reviewing, analyzing, and advising the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation on its programs and policies, ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to the services and supports needed to achieve meaningful employment and independence.

The SRC meets regularly to assess VR programs, discuss challenges and opportunities, and make recommendations to improve services. By fostering collaboration between the state agency, community organizations, and the public, the Council plays a vital role in shaping policies, evaluating outcomes, and promoting initiatives that expand opportunities for Wyoming residents with disabilities.
