Since 1943, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (BOPU) has been providing clean, safe, and reliable water resources to nearly 75,000 people in the Cheyenne area. Crews work around the clock to manage Cheyenne’s water supply and sanitary sewer system.
Cheyenne’s BOPU has engaged in a working relationship with Wyoming OSHA Consultation and is an active participant in the Employer Voluntary Technical Assistance Program (EVTAP) to develop and promote BOPU’s health and safety goals while ensuring their employees are provided with one of the safest places to work in Wyoming.
Wyoming OSHA Consultation offers free, confidential, safety and occupational health advice to small and medium-sized businesses in and across the state, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. On-site Consultation services are separate from enforcement and does not result in penalties or citations to the company. Wyoming OSHA Consultants work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice on compliance with OSHA standards, and assists in establishing injury and illness prevention programs.
