DWS taking public comment on OSHA - Practice and Procedure Rules on Enforcement

It is important that we be able to provide timely payments to you for your benefits, and in doing so, are making some changes. Therefore, as of 05/31/2024, you will no longer be able to file your weekly continued claims for payment over the telephone using the automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. You will be able to file your continued claims online at wyui.wyo.gov by logging in and clicking on Continued Claim > File Continued Claim.

The Department of Workforce Services, in conjunction with the OSHA Commission, is promulgating Chapter 3, Section 6 of the OSHA- Practice and Procedure Program rules, and now seeks public comment. The proposed changes regard penalties, to increase the penalty fees, and incorporating by reference Federal penalties which were effective January 15, 2023. The Federal OSHA increased the penalties by an adjustment factor of 1.07745, per the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for October 2022.
