Did you know that the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported 5,486 fatal work injuries in the U.S. in 2022? Construction-related fatalities increased to 13% in 2022 and the “Fatal Four” – the leading causes of fatalities in the construction industry – account for around 60% of the fatalities in construction year after year.
Wyoming OSHA’s first-ever OSHA Roadshow addresses the Fatal Four – falls, struck-by, caught-in or -between, and electrocutions – in two days of comprehensive and hands-on training. This year’s event will be held in Afton, WY, on May 14-15, and is a must-attend for anyone interested in construction safety.
During the Roadshow, you’ll have the opportunity to attend in-depth workshops designed to give your team the training they need to be safe on the job, and certificates will be granted for each workshop completed. Workshops include:
- Excavation Safety Competent Person
- Fall Protection Awareness Training
- Competent Person for Fall Protection Equipment Inspection
- Construction Focus Four: Electrocution Hazards
- Construction Focus Four: Struck-by Hazards
