Casper, WY — The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS), in partnership with Casper College, is proud to announce the return of the OSHA Roadshow, a safety training event for construction and trades professionals, scheduled for May 20-21, 2025, at the Wold Physical Science Center.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2nd Annual OSHA Roadshow will offer two days of interactive, hands-on training designed to reduce workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety throughout Wyoming’s industries.

“In 2023, the United States recorded 5,283 fatal workplace injuries,” said Christian Graham, OSHA Program Manager at DWS. “The construction sector alone accounted for 1,075 of those lives lost—many due to preventable incidents. This Roadshow is our way of turning those numbers around in Wyoming by empowering workers and employers with the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe.”

A Safety-Focused Experience

The event will feature safety experts, real-world training scenarios, and presentations focused on the construction industry’s most pressing dangers—including the “Fatal Four” hazards: falls, struck-by-object incidents, electrocutions, and caught-in/between accidents, which together account for nearly 60% of all construction-related fatalities.

Participants can expect:

  • Practical Safety Training led by experienced professionals
  • Live Demonstrations on fall protection, rescue systems, PPE, and more
  • Certificates of Completion to bolster workplace credentials
  • Sponsored Lunch with safety briefings and DWS program resources, workforce development resources, including internships, training programs, apprenticeships, and funding opportunities available to Wyoming employers and employees.
  • Division Representatives from Workers’ Compensation, Apprenticeships, Grants, and Training Programs
  • Networking Opportunities with safety professionals and peers across the state
