PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE RULES, REGULATIONS
AND FEE SCHEDULE OF THE WYOMING WORKERS’ COMPENSATION
DIVISION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wyoming Workers’ Compensation
Division is proposing changes that will affect the Division’s rules, regulations and fee
schedule. These proposals include modifications to the Wyoming Workers’
Compensation Rules, Regulations and Fee Schedules;
The Department is proposing to amend several rules. More specifically:
Chapter 6, Section 2 (Contested Case Proceedings), increase fees for members of the
Medical Commission.
Chapter 10, Section 6 (Blood-borne Pathogen Testing and Prophylactic Care), reduce
redundancy in formatting.
Chapter 10, Section 16 (Miscellaneous Medical Protocols), clarify criteria permitting
massage therapy provider upon orders from the treating health care provider.
Chapter 10, Section 19 (Off-label use of Medical Services), changes from one (1) to two
(2) good prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial.
Chapter 10, Section 21 (Physical Medicine and Restorative Services), changes from
adopting to most current editions of Rehabilitation Therapy Utilization Guidelines For
The Care And Treatment Of Injured Workers and the Chiropractic Utilization Guidelines
For The Care And Treatment Of Injured Workers.
Chapter 10, Section 25 (Miscellaneous Medical Protocols), clarifies that physicians
dispensing pharmaceuticals from their offices will be reimbursed the same amount as a
pharmacy.

A public comment period will end at close of business on July 18, 2016.
A public hearing is scheduled for Monday, August 1, 2016, at 9:00am at 122 W. 25th
Street, Herschler Building, Room 1699, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
