The Wyoming State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) is always looking for members who want to make a difference for individuals with disabilities. Members include community leaders, employers, advocates, and people with lived experience.

SRC Committees & What They Do
- Review Committee
- Reviews and advises the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) on the State Plan before it is submitted to the federal Rehabilitation Services Administration
- Organizes SRC activities to support State Plan goals
- Examines DVR policies and procedures to better understand processes and decision-making, recommending improvements where appropriate
- Outreach Committee
- Builds partnerships and coordinates activities with other agencies and advisory councils, such as the Department of Education, Department of Health, State Independent Living Council, and Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities
- Supports SRC efforts to meet State Plan goals
- Reviews DVR policies and procedures and recommends improvements as needed
- Membership Committee
- Recruits new members to ensure a full and active council
- Recommends removal of members who do not meet expectations
- Organizes orientation and training for new and experienced members
- Reviews statewide needs assessments and aligns recommendations with State Plan goals
- Supports SRC activities to help achieve State Plan objectives
- Analyzes DVR policies and procedures and recommends improvements as appropriate
