CHEYENNE – The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is pleased to announce the Thursday, Jan. 25 launch of its new online job board, HireWYO.com. The upgraded site will improve user experience and site performance with exciting new features for job seekers and employers.
“HireWYO.com has a more straightforward and intuitive interface,” said Robin Sessions Cooley, Director of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. “Our new site offers a better user experience, whether you’re an employer or a job seeker.”
Ivy McGowan Castleberry, DWS Policy, Research and Communications Administrator, believes the complete re-design will be well-received by the public. “Job seekers will be able to access a suite of tools to help them further their career. This includes a resume builder and a virtual job simulation tool to help Wyoming residents with job applications and career development.” Employers will be just as pleased. “They’ll be able to easily and intuitively post job openings to find quality candidates to fill their employment needs.”
The site is also built for ease of use, and there are significant cost savings for ongoing maintenance. “Not only is it easier and more intuitive for the users,” Christina West, Deputy Administrator, Employment and Training, said, “it’s easier for DWS staff to use and maintain, giving them more time to spend with our customers.”
“This is such an exciting time here at DWS,” said Cooley. “I encourage everyone to check out HireWYO.com, and if it’s been a while since you’ve been to your local workforce center – or if you’ve never been – come see what we’re up to!”
