CHEYENNE – The Department of Workforce Services is seeking public comment on the rules related to the Quality Child Care program. The original rules, previously contained in a single, lengthy, and complex chapter, have been reorganized into five distinct chapters to improve clarity and facilitate easier navigation for those seeking information related to scholarship or grant opportunities. The proposed amendments will better align existing rules with current practices, address increased tuition costs by raising the maximum award amount available to each participant, update references to eligible coursework and certifications, and enhance operational efficiencies.
