CHEYENNE—The Wyoming Workforce Development Council (WWDC) invites you to its upcoming quarterly meeting at the Frank B. Wise Business Center in Fort Washakie. Join us on Sept. 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon for an insightful discussion on the future of Wyoming’s workforce.

Key items on the agenda include a review of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I evaluation report, consideration of a funding request, and an overview of the 2024 Wyoming Workforce Annual Report. Attendees will also receive updates on several impactful initiatives:

  • WIOA programs administered by the Department of Workforce Services.
  • Justice-involved hiring initiatives.
  • Senior Community Service Employment Program.
  • Wind River Job Corps.

In addition, participants will have the unique opportunity to take a guided tour of the Path of Honor Wind River Indian Reservation Veterans Memorial, a tribute to the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
