The number of initial and continued Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims in Wyoming both decreased over the year. The over-the-year decrease in continued claims was the first since April 2024, or close to two years.
There were 1,503 initial claims in February 2026, down 196 (or 11.5%) from February 2025.
The total number of continued weeks claimed decreased from 14,340 in February 2025 to 14,134 in February 2026 (-206, or -1.4%).
