The number of initial and continued Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims in Wyoming continued to decline over the month as warm summer months brought more job opportunities. Over-the-month declines were more pronounced in continued claims than initial claims.

There were 1,164 initial claims in June 2026, down from 1,209 in June 2025 (-45, or -3.7%). There were 36 fewer claims filed in June compared to May.

The total number of continued weeks claimed decreased from 8,128 in June 2025 to 7,667 in June 2026 (-461, or -5.7%). Continued weeks claimed also decreased by 1,237 (13.9%) over the month. There were 2,698 unique claimants in June 2026, down 512 (16.0%) over the month and 166 (5.8%) over the year.
