Refund Request Guidelines
A refund should only be requested if a credit is not expected to be fully utilized within four quarters. These requests must be initiated by the employer.
Submission Methods
Employers can submit their requests through any of the following channels:

- Mail: Unemployment Tax Division, P.O. Box 2760, Casper, WY 82602
Important Limitations and Processing
- Credits resulting from Executive Order 2021-08 are non-refundable and must be applied to future tax obligations.
- Credits are not transferable to Workers’ Compensation accounts.
- Refund checks are issued to the requesting business entity and mailed to the address of record.
