Launch Your Future with Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
这 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) makes Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) the go-to resource for helping students with disabilities get ready for work while still in school—whether that’s high school, home-school, college, or HiSET. Through Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), VR helps students explore careers, gain hands-on experience, and build the skills needed to succeed in the workplace.

- Are on an IEP, 504 plan, or getting disability-related services outside school

How VR Supports You
VR can:
- Meet with students, families, and schools to set goals for education, training, and work
- Connect you to resources, agencies, and supports
- Attend IEP, 504, or other team meetings
- Offer individualized career counseling
- Help you gain independence through employment

Note: Pre-ETS is limited. If you need more services, you can apply for the full VR program.
The Traditional VR Program
这 full VR program helps people with disabilities overcome barriers to employment. VR supports you in preparing for, getting, keeping, and advancing in a career.
In Wyoming, VR and schools work together to give students smooth access to career services. VR dedicates at least 15% of its funds to Pre-ETS, while school services under IDEA continue as normal. The goal is teamwork, not overlap.
