State Apprenticeship Expansion Funding (SAEF)
Looking to start or grow a registered apprenticeship program in Wyoming? The State Apprenticeship Expansion Funding (SAEF) provides businesses with two funding opportunities:
- One-time incentive payments of up to:
- Sponsor Incentive: $10,000 to support the development or expansion of registered apprenticeship programs.
- Pre-Apprenticeship Incentive: $5,000 to assist employers in building an avenue to prepare individuals for successful entry into a Registered Apprenticeship Program
- Technical and financial support to help you create customized apprenticeship opportunities.
This program is designed to boost Wyoming’s workforce by helping businesses create sustainable apprenticeship models that meet industry needs.

Pre-Apprenticeship Pathways
Looking to build a pipeline of skilled workers? Pre-Apprenticeship Pathways connect Wyoming youth (ages 16-24) to career opportunities in:

- Healthcare
- Manufacturing
These pathways help high school students earn post-secondary credentials while exploring exciting career options. By preparing young workers early, businesses benefit from a stronger and more prepared talent pool.
