Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is excited to announce the Cheyenne Workforce Center’s annual Spring Career Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. for veterans and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all others. This year’s event, held in collaboration with Laramie County Community College (LCCC) and the Military & Family Readiness Center, will take place at the Blue Recreation & Athletics Complex (RAC) Auxiliary Gym at LCCC. The event is free and open to the public.

“It’s been a real pleasure working alongside LCCC and the Military & Family Readiness Center over the years,” said Terri Wells, Business Representative with the Cheyenne Workforce Center. “Events like this offer job seekers a meaningful opportunity to connect with employers who are actively hiring. That in-person interaction can truly make a difference.”

The Spring Career Fair serves as a vital opportunity for job seekers and employers to engage in meaningful, in-person interactions—an increasingly rare experience in today’s predominantly digital hiring landscape. The event consistently draws participation from more than 50 employers representing a diverse range of industries, all seeking to connect with qualified candidates.

LCCC generously provides the venue and catering for the event. In addition, the Military & Family Readiness Center plays a key role by offering on-site volunteer support throughout the day. These volunteers assist veterans, their families, employers, and job seekers by providing a range of services, including career exploration, education and training resources, employment readiness assistance, and job placement support.
