Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming Workforce Development Council will hold its upcoming quarterly meeting on May 14–15, at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. The meeting will take place in ITECC Room 125, located at 2660 Peck Avenue.

The Council will convene at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, and reconvene at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15.

Key agenda items include:

  • Consideration and approval of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant proposals; and
  • Review and approval of the WIOA Title I Program Year 2025 funding model.

In addition to Council business, the agenda will feature:

  • A panel discussion with representatives from the Riverton Economic Development Association ve The Bootstrap Collaborative, highlighting local economic development and entrepreneurial support initiatives.
  • Central Wyoming College will present on its workforce development programs and priorities.
  • Bu Wind River Job Corps will host a guided tour showcasing local initiatives that help prepare young adults for successful careers.

This meeting is open to the public, and we invite workforce partners, community leaders, and stakeholders to attend and contribute to the conversation on Wyoming’s workforce strategies.
