Dads Making a Difference is a nationally recognized program that helps fathers build a stronger future for themselves and their families.

The program is designed for custodial and non-custodial fathers who are facing real challenges — like finding steady work, making ends meet, or rebuilding important relationships. Through job training, life skills education, and personal support, Dads Making a Difference helps fathers gain the tools they need to become self-sufficient and more involved in their children’s lives.
Participants receive hands-on job training in high-demand careers, along with help finding good-paying jobs. At the same time, the program focuses on life skills that matter every day — parenting, healthy relationships, money management, and personal growth.
This is more than a job program. It’s a chance to reset, rebuild, and move forward with purpose.

Why It Matters
Fathers play a powerful role in shaping the future of their children and families. When dads are present, engaged, and supported, families thrive. Children with active fathers are more likely to succeed in school, build healthy relationships, and grow into confident, resilient adults.
Dads Making a Difference gives fathers the tools and support to step into that role — improving their careers, strengthening their relationships, and creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for their kids. Every skill learned, every job earned, and every connection made through this program helps fathers make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of their families and communities.
By investing in fathers, we’re not just helping individual men — we’re building stronger families and stronger communities across Wyoming.
