Casper, WY—The Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Advisory Committee is gearing up for an important meeting on Thursday, May 8, at 10:00 A.M. The meeting will be hosted at the Thyra Thomson State Office Building, located at 444 West Collins Drive, Casper, Wyoming, in Conference Room 3152 on the third floor.

This meeting offers a vital opportunity to shape the future of accessible communication in Wyoming. As a crucial part of maintaining the Wyoming Relay program, the TRS Advisory Committee will discuss updates and oversight, striving to ensure that individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech impediments can continue to enjoy reliable telephone access.

The TRS Advisory Committee operates under the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), a program housed within the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. DVR is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing resources, services, and support to enhance their quality of life. As a vital component of this mission, the Wyoming Relay program bridges communication gaps and fosters equal access for all.

Community engagement is at the heart of the Wyoming Relay program, and the committee welcomes everyone to join the conversation. Whether attending in person or virtually, your voice can make a difference. Those interested in joining virtually may do so via Zoom.

To ensure full participation, individuals needing special accommodations are encouraged to reach out to Dominique Maestas at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – WY Relay by calling 1-800-452-1408 V/TTY before noon on Wednesday, May 7.
